So as most of you are aware, I have accepted the call to move to Wilmington, NC to help launch Second Mile Church come the beginning of November. I’ve been preparing spiritually by spending more time in my prayer closet and just diving into his word more than ever before. And although the devil has been fighting back at me with temptations and set backs, I feel like I’m in God’s will right now then I have been in a long time. I know God has something great in store and I’m honored that I get to be a part of the church’s story!

BUT with a big move comes many unexpected expenses. Due to being unemployed because of COVID-19, I started adding to my savings more than ever. But due to the pandemic and some other contributing factors, that savings that I would have used for the move is nearly depleted. But I still have faith that God will provide a way, no matter how difficult it may be, for this new season to become possible financially. That being said, your donations would mean more to me than I can verbalize. Being the stereotypical millennial that I am, I have set up MANY ways for you to donate, which I will list below.

Above everything, I ask for your prayers. As a 26 year old single guy leaving everything he knows to move 10 hours away from his family and friends, I’m pretty nervous. I can’t just call up a friend or my family if my car breaks down (which knowing my luck… it will happen soon lol) I can’t just drive home at the drop of a hat like I do nearly every weekend now lol I will be starting over in a city I’d never heard of until God gave me the call. I’m SOOO excited and know His hand is on this season. It’s going to be super hard work, but I’m ready to put in all of the blood sweat and tears it takes to be the hands and feet of Jesus. And more than anything, I’m honored God thinks I’m worthy enough to be a part of something so amazing! To God be the Glory!

A little bit about my design!

The beach depicts Wilmington, NC which sits along the edge of the Atlantic ocean. The mountain and trees in the background represent where I’m coming from… the Cleveland/Chattanooga area which is situated in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains.

The lyrics come from one of my favorite songs, "Available" by Elevation worship. The lyrics read: "Narrow as the road may seem, I'll follow where your spirit leads. Broken as my life may be, I will give You every piece. I hear You call, I am available. I say yes Lord, I am available. Here I am with open hands. Counting on Your grace again. Less of me and more of You. I just wanna see You move." This outlines my desperation for revival. “God, Here I am with open hands... less of me, more of you. I just want to see you move. God, move in the Wilmington, NC area. Their souls are crying out for You. They're crying out for revival, for joy, for your grace and blessings. Wilmington NEEDS YOU LORD!!”

But the lyrics also mean more to me because it was the main source of confirmation I needed. One night during my fast, I was seeking God and just praying for His will to be done. I just wanted what He wanted and not the desires of my own heart. I had my Spotify on shuffle and the song came on... Tiffany Hammer began singing "I am available" "Lord, my hands are open wide"... Although that was literally the cry of my heart... I knew in my spirit that that was one of three confirmations that I was praying for but definitely the most important one.
