Meet Cody Lee Aulidge
Hey y’all—I’m Cody. Southern by birth, storyteller by calling, and a queer creative navigating the wild intersection of faith, identity, and community. I live in Wilmington, North Carolina with my incredible fiancé Robbie, where I split my time between real estate marketing, nonprofit storytelling, church leadership, and trying to perfect my banana pudding recipe (the secret is love... and just a little too much vanilla).
My journey started in a small Tennessee town where front porches, gospel music, and “ole time religion” ran deep. I came up through Southern Baptist pews, Pentecostal revivals, and youth camps that shaped me—and eventually sent me searching for a faith that could hold the fullness of who I am. That search led me through years of ministry, a degree in public relations, and a long, winding road of deconstruction, reconstruction, and divine rediscovery.
I studied at Lee University and toured for seven semesters with its Campus Choir—an experience that lit my fire for worship and community even as I eventually distanced myself from the school’s more conservative, exclusionary culture. After moving to Wilmington to help plant a church, I came out as pansexual and began reclaiming my voice—this time, as my whole self.
Now, I’m living into a call that integrates all my passions: I serve as Director of Hospitality and Social Marketing at RE/MAX Essential, sit on the board of the Cape Fear Chorale (where I also sing), and help lead Diversity, Equity & Inclusion efforts at Harbor United Methodist Church, where I also serve on the Church Council. I partner with the LGBTQ+ Center of the Cape Fear Coast and use my gifts in design, photography, worship, and communication to help amplify the stories that matter most.
I’m a maximalist at heart—give me thrifted antiques, Appalachian lore, sourdough starters, and a cabin in the woods, and I’m good. I recharge in nature, worship with my whole soul, and fight fiercely to make sure everyone feels seen, safe, and home.
This website is my little corner of the internet—a hub for the creative, the curious, the called, and the kind. Whether you're here for a project, a partnership, or just to say hi, I’m really glad you stopped by.
Let’s make something beautiful together.
